→ For able-bodied persons :
Bottom of the mirrors between 90 cm and 120 cm from the floor.







→ For persons with reduced mobility (PRM / WCH / WHU) :
Bottom of the mirrors between 90 cm and 120 cm from the floor.


According to the French Decree of April 20, 2017, Article 4 :
"Manual control devices made available to the public shall meet the following requirements :
- they are located more than 0.40 m from an internal corner of walls or any other obstacle to wheelchair approach;
- they are located at a height between 0.90 m and 1.30 m;
- they are identifiable and detectable."

The design of Axeuro Industrie's fixed tilted mirrors (specifically the specific tilt angle of the AX7901 range) allows for more space above the washbasin: the bottom of the mirror can easily be placed up to a maximum of 120 cm. This is because the tilt of the AXEURO mirror allows the reflection to be seen higher than in a flat mirror, making it easy to see oneself whether standing or sitting in a wheelchair.

According to standard NF P 99-611 of January 2018: "The bottom of a vertical mirror must be located at most 0.90 m from the floor; otherwise, the mirror must be tilted downwards to allow a seated person to see themselves."
